Summer Internship at the University of Pittsburgh's Asthma Institute at UPMC

I spent the summer of 2015 interning at the Asthma Institute as a communications and writing intern. I completed all types of projects including: newsletters, blog and social media posts, email blasts, reference material, recruiting and advertising documents, patient screening, and other writing projects.

The Pitt Pulse Science and Health Student Publication
​

I write for a student science and health publication at the University of Pittsburgh. As a staff writer, I propose, research, write, and edit my articles for publication. In addition, I earned a position as an assistant editor for the 2015-2016 school year, which will entail overseeing and editing the work of a small team of staff writers as they prepare their articles for submission. I will also plan and facilitate workshops for staff writers throughout the semester.
